Already with a million views on the internet, Gulcharrey, went on to win the Best Film award at the Advantage India Short Film Festival. It premiered at the River To River Film Festival, Italy and won critical acclaim in 4 other International Film Festivals.

Sitting on the last benches and thinking about films all the time, Varun Tandon co-founded Kya Baat Hai Productions in St. Xavier’s College, Mum
bai in 2008. Apart from making a popular short film Gulcharrey, his first feature length script, was selected for the NFDC National Script lab.
