From the user submitted section, we present NAAD, a film by Indraneel Nighojkar.
Every year, Maharashtra, like many other states in India, celebrates a big festival as part of its culture. In Maharashtra we celebrate the Ganpati (Ganesh) Festival. This festival brings out a lot of energy in the youth as anybody can be part of it in some way or the other. Many Maharashtrian boys and girls join 'Dhol Tasha Groups' that make the Ganpati (Ganesh) procession. It is an extravagant and extremely energetic event and everybody part of it is very passionate about it. Naad finds its inspiration from this youth.
It is a film about a boy (Harsh) who dreams to be part of the Ganpati Festival. He wants to play a small role in the festival by being part of a Dhol Tasha Group.
