The Search is a horror film about a man trapped in a nightmare that slowly reveals itself. He has come to pick up his wife, but as he moves around the dark library, he is unable to ever get closer to her or get any help from the people who work there. The actions of previous men and women haunt the library and the man is unable to fathom his surroundings. The film ratchets up the dread before we leave the man to his ironic fate.
