The Interstellar season just got over and the Christmas season is setting in. As we read stories of colonization of Mars and making it our home, here comes an indie mokumentary that is a vision of humanity's expansion into the Solar System, based on scientific ideas and concepts of what our future in space might look like, if it ever happens.

If you had thought that no other space movie could better the visuals of Interstellars movie, this movie is a must watch because here we not just see the rings of Saturn from a distance but we even pass through it. We have seen some amazing sci-fi fantastical shorts and one thing is common in all. The imagination is extrapolation of reality rather than built ground up adding detailed aunthenticity to the frames. Here too the locations depicted in the film are digital recreations of actual places in the Solar System, built from real photos and map data where available.

Without any apparent story, other than what you may fill in by yourself, the idea with the film is primarily to show a glimpse of the fantastic and beautiful nature that surrounds us on our neighboring worlds - and above all, the sense of awe it would create.
